Dolce & Gabbana A/W 2012

A collection inspired by the decadent and romanticism of the Boroque period. Angelic-faced models grace the runway surrounded by chandeliers and antique mirrors. Like images form Roman Catholic church paintings represented by vintage floral and cherubs prints, black velvet, heavily embroidered, gold embellishments, white lace dresses. Feminine silhouette demonstrated by dome sleeves, crop cape, sheer lace and structured tulip skirt nipped in at the waist with gold embroidered belt. Accessories were opulent jewels encrusted hairbands and earrings. Elegant heels over lace socks covered in floral appliqué. A heavenly stunning show that could make me believe I found religion.
